Sautéed Zucchini
Sautéed zucchini is a classic Italian side dish, quick to prepare and full of flavor. Thinly sliced zucchini are cooked with garlic and olive oil until tender and lightly golden. Perfect served alongside meat, fish or as a simple vegetarian option.
Ingredients
- 600 g zucchini
- 30 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
How to Make It
- Wash and slice the zucchini into rounds
- Heat olive oil in a large pan
- Add garlic and cook gently
- Add zucchini and stir well
- Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes
- Stir occasionally
- Season with salt and pepper
- Remove garlic if desired
- Finish with chopped parsley
- Serve warm
Tips
- Do not overcrowd the pan
- Cook uncovered for slight browning
- Slice evenly for uniform cooking
- Add chili flakes if desired

- Keep refrigerated for up to 2 days
- Reheat in a pan
- Not suitable for freezing
