Potato Chips

Homemade potato chips are thin, crispy and irresistibly crunchy. Made with just potatoes and oil, they are simple to prepare and perfect as a snack or side. Lightly salted and golden, they deliver classic flavour with minimal ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 500 g potatoes
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

How to Make It

  • Peel the potatoes
  • Slice very thinly using a knife or mandoline
  • Rinse slices under cold water to remove starch
  • Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth
  • Heat oil in a deep pan
  • Fry a few slices at a time
  • Cook until golden and crisp
  • Remove with a slotted spoon
  • Drain on paper towel
  • Season with salt and serve

Tips
