Pasta with Pepper Cream
Pasta with pepper cream is a colorful and creamy dish made by blending cooked peppers into a smooth sauce. Naturally sweet and light, it coats the pasta perfectly and creates an elegant meal ideal for everyday cooking.
Ingredients
- 320 g pasta
- 2 red peppers
- 1 small onion
- 30 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 50 g grated parmesan
- 100 ml water or pasta water
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
How to Make It
- Wash the peppers, remove seeds and cut into pieces
- Slice the onion
- Heat olive oil in a pan
- Add onion and cook until soft
- Add peppers and cook for 10–12 minutes
- Season with salt and pepper
- Transfer to a blender and add a little water
- Blend until smooth and creamy
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water
- Drain, reserving some pasta water
- Return sauce to the pan and add pasta
- Add parmesan and a little pasta water if needed
- Toss well and serve hot
Tips
- Use red peppers for a sweeter flavor
- Blend thoroughly for a silky texture
- Add pasta water gradually to adjust consistency
- Finish with a drizzle of olive oil if desired

- Sauce can be frozen separately
