Hugo Spritz

A fresh and aromatic cocktail made with elderflower syrup, prosecco, and soda. Light, floral, and refreshing, it is perfect for warm evenings and relaxed aperitivo moments.

Ingredients

  • 500 g ice
  • 240 ml prosecco
  • 180 ml elderflower syrup
  • 300 ml soda water
  • 16 mint leaves
  • 1 lime
  • Extra mint for garnish

How to Make It

  • Fill a large wine glass halfway with ice
  • Pour in 60 ml prosecco
  • Add 45 ml elderflower syrup
  • Add 4 mint leaves
  • Add more ice to fill the glass
  • Top with about 75 ml soda water
  • Stir gently to combine
  • Garnish with a slice of lime
  • Add a fresh mint leaf on top
  • Serve immediately

Tips

  • Use well-chilled prosecco for best balance
  • Do not overuse syrup to avoid excessive sweetness
  • Lightly press mint to release aroma
  • Add a few drops of bitters for a deeper flavour

Storage

  • Best consumed immediately
  • Not suitable for storing or freezing
