  • 300 ml lukewarm water
  • 7 g dry yeast
  • 10 g salt
  • 20 g sugar
  • 20 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • Seeds optional for topping

How to Make It

  • Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water
  • Place flour in a bowl
  • Add liquid mixture and olive oil
  • Mix until dough forms
  • Add salt and knead until smooth
  • Cover and let rise for about 1 hour
  • Divide dough into portions
  • Shape into balls and make a hole in the center
  • Bring water to a boil in a pot
  • Boil bagels for about 1 minute per side
  • Remove and place on a baking tray
  • Add seeds if desired
